Terms of Use and End User License Agreement

These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Love and Care website and the private Salesforce–QuickBooks Online integration operated by TEYTE Inc., doing business as Love and Care (“Love and Care,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the website or integration, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

Purpose and Authorized Users

The integration is a private internal business application intended only for Love and Care and its authorized personnel. It connects designated Salesforce records with the QuickBooks Online company authorized by Love and Care. It is not offered as a public software service and may not be used by unaffiliated third parties.

Limited License

Subject to these Terms, Love and Care grants authorized users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the integration solely for approved Love and Care business purposes. No ownership rights are transferred.

Permitted Functions

When properly configured and authorized, the integration may read QuickBooks Online customer, service-item, and invoice data; match or create customer records; create invoice records; record synchronization results in Salesforce; and, only when separately enabled and authorized, request invoice delivery through QuickBooks Online.

User Responsibilities

  • Use only an account and permissions assigned to you.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of authentication credentials.
  • Verify customer identity, contact information, service details, rates, hours, and invoice amounts before initiating a synchronization.
  • Use customer information only for authorized business purposes.
  • Promptly report suspected errors, unauthorized access, or security incidents.
  • Comply with applicable Salesforce, Intuit, QuickBooks Online, and Love and Care policies.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not access the integration without authorization; use it for an unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or unrelated purpose; attempt to defeat access controls; reverse engineer or interfere with the integration except where applicable law expressly permits; introduce malicious code; scrape or extract data for unauthorized purposes; disclose customer or accounting data to unauthorized persons; or use the integration to create knowingly inaccurate or duplicate financial records.

Third-Party Services

The integration depends on third-party services, including Salesforce and Intuit QuickBooks Online. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Love and Care does not control their availability, features, security procedures, or service changes. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Love and Care is not Intuit and does not provide Intuit’s products.

Data and Privacy

Use of information through the website and integration is also governed by Love and Care’s Privacy Policy. Authorized users must follow applicable privacy, confidentiality, accounting, and record-retention requirements.

Invoices and Accounting Records

The integration is an administrative tool. Users remain responsible for reviewing and approving accounting information. Creation or transmission of an invoice does not establish that services were delivered, an amount is correct, an invoice was received, or payment was made. QuickBooks Online and Salesforce records should be reviewed and reconciled according to Love and Care’s accounting procedures.

Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the website or integration at any time. Features may be unavailable because of maintenance, third-party outages, authorization failures, software changes, or other circumstances.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and integration are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Love and Care will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the website or integration. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access when authorization ends, employment or engagement ends, these Terms are violated, or continued access presents an operational, legal, or security risk. Authorized administrators may disconnect QuickBooks Online access through Intuit or Salesforce configuration.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be identified by the updated date shown above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
